About Comment Exchange - Comment for Comment

The idea for this group was inspired by the website www.modelmayhem.com. There, on the front page, you can post an announcement for everyone on the site to see, and most people end up saying something along the lines of, "I'll give you a comment if you give me one," or to be shorter, "Comment for Comment."

I thought Flickr needed a similar sort of location where people could meet other people who were willing to share comments with those who gave them comments. I understand how frustrating it is for people new to Flickr to get comments, and sometimes for people who have been here a long time. Also, I'm sick of all those glittery images people insert into the comments due to group requirements. They're silly. The point of a group should not be to grow, it should be to make sure the artwork submitted to it gets more exposure.

So that's how this group was birthed. Anyhow here are the very short rules:


1. It is only possible to submit 1 image per day to this group. This is to prevent overkill.
2. When you submit an image, you have to give a comment to everyone who has commented on that image for at least two days after the image has been submitted.
**Please understand that there is no requirement to write "Comment for Comment" or any jibberish like that, so you will not know who visited from this group or who came directly from your photostream, or where ever else. So you must comment one comment for everyone who has commented on the image for this to work.

And that's all.

Please note, because the rule is that you must comment on people's streams for at least the first two days, if you see an image in here that is more than two days old, realize that the person may or may not give you a comment back.
