About Comment on my Stream

Post a photo to the pool and then look at and then explore the stream of the previous poster. You must comment on at least five of their photos and it would be good to give a comment on the overall stream. It is good to get comments and it will help you get new ideas from the many different posters on Flickr. Please make sure you have enough time to make comments. If you are posting you must be prepared to comment. The group rule is that you should comment straight away after posting your photo.
You can post up to three photos in one day but you must wait for three other photos to be posted before you post again. If you do this then the extra photos will be removed and you will be banned. If you block a moderator or an admin then you will be banned immediately.

NO posting and reposting.

Remember it is at least 5 comments on one persons stream and adding as a favourite is not the same as a comment. If you think a photo is good then the favourite should be in addition to a comment not instead of.

Although we all like to receive comments remember that this is not the main reason why we use Flickr. It is for the enjoyment of all so please be polite in your comments and try and use more than one or two words. Explain what you like about a photo and how you would improve it. A good critique is constructive in nature and is not bland.

When commenting on photos please copy the code below and then add your comment.

Following a number of comments about members who have small photostreams. It does make it difficult to comment when there are very few photos to comment on.

If a stream has less than 50 photos then the commenter can comment on one photo for every 10 in the stream. ie

+50 photos at least 5 comments
40 photos at least 4 comments
30 photos at least 3 comments
20 photos at least 2 comments
10 photos at least 1 comment

I still think that the basic rule should be that you should post at
least 5 comments but administrators will not pursue people who post comments as set out above.
