About Comic Photo Relief 2009
PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT THIS GROUP AND INVITE YOUR FRIENDS/CONTACTS.
Red Nose Day is on March 13 2009...
...Help raise money for Comic Relief by joining Comic Photo Relief 2009 and adding a photograph, a hundred photographs or simply by clicking and chuckling away!
It's all about the funny photos...join the group and post an amusing photograph. It's as easy as that. Something to make yourself and others laugh - it can be anything (well not ANYTHING, see rules below), something funny you saw on the street or something set up for the express purpose of being hilarious. The more creative the better.
The idea is that if a photo seen here makes you laugh out loud, hot foot it over to our official Red Nose Day fundraising page and donate £1 to Comic Relief.
Every £1 goes a long way - visit the official Red Nose Day 2009 web site here to find out about the fantastic things that can be done with your monies.
The aim of this project is obviously to raise money for Red Nose Day 2009 but there's more than that...
Laughing is important, and so is noticing things in every day life that are humorous or can have humour injected into them. So much of the time life is so serious, especially at the moment (economic downturn anyone?), and we spend so much of our lives 'getting on with it', which is quite frankly just a depressing thing. Anything, however small, that makes life a bit more interesting is a good thing. It's good for our poor little brains.
And sometimes we forget to have fun. So that's what this is about - having fun, changing your perspective on things and of course RAISING MONEY FOR COMIC RELIEF 2009!
The Rules...
Because there have to be some rules.
1.) Anyone can contribute a photo. Or several photos. There are no limits.
2.) Photos can be of anything you find amusing, or that you think other people will find amusing - because that's what this is about - making each other laugh. PLEASE try to be creative though. Photos of your best friend drunk and asleep under a bush aren't the most inspiring things in the world.
3.) Don't post anything X-rated. I'll leave it to your good judgement to decide what counts as X-rated, but anything unsuitable will be removed.
4.) If you get stuck for ideas, have a browse through some of the photos already posted.
5.) Any format goes - photos aren't being judged on quality. Film, digital, that's fine. Polaroid, instant camera from Boots, phone cam...all fine. As long as it's funny.
6.) Most importantly - if you find yourself laughing out loud - click on the link below and donate £1!
