29 Apr 09 - Our group icon is a Lotus Seed Pod - all over the place in the pond at Goodale Park during ComFest. Actual image is probably from Japan, but I liked this shot as it scaled well down to 48 pixels square. The photographer was kind enough to release the image (which can be seen here) in the Creative Commons, and you should take a look at tanakawho's Photostream here.

About ComFest Images

ComFest is an annual Community Fest located in Columbus, Ohio. It's one year younger than I am, and that's a long time!

Trying to post images from ComFest from 2005, I realized that there isn't an easy-to-find ComFest Catch-All! The problem is, ComFest has been around since 1972, so having a separate group for each year of ComFest might be great for recent stuff, but what about older shots? Plus, do you really want to dig around to make sure you're posting in the correct year?

Please feel free to post all of your safe-for-all ComFest related images here. I know that topless is okay for women in Columbus, Ohio (neat, eh?) but unless certain parts of the anatomy are covered (you know the rules here), these unsafe images will be rejected from the pool.

This group is by invitation only simply to keep the spammers out. We moderate all images because some folks aren't sure about the rules and we want to maintain a 100% safe rating. If the right parts are covered up - or painted - there will be no problems. :)
