About The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium
Welcome to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium’s official Flickr page. This page was created to allow our visitors the opportunity to share their experience with others, to highlight the Zoo’s amazing diversity of animals, and to promote the Zoo’s mission of
enriching our community's quality of life and to inspire a greater appreciation of wildlife for the advancement of conservation action. Over the past five years the Zoo has raised over $3.3 million to support this mission.
The Columbus Zoo is home to more than 700 species and over 6000 individual animals. The Zoo is recognized for its success in breeding programs, especially for the lowland gorilla, and features hundreds of species that are threatened in the wild, including the orangutan, bonobo, black rhino, Asian elephant, Aldabra tortoise, Mexican wolf, Amur tiger and the manatee.
To join our group, pick out your best photos, right-click on them, and choose “Send to the Group”. They’ll become part of the gallery of the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, and you’ll share them with people from around the world that share your love of animals and conservation.
Please limit your postings to 25 photos per day and only post images that you yourself have shot at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. We may occasionally pull a photo for use in one of our publications or our website, so make sure your photos have your credit info included. If you rather your image not be used, just tag it with the word “no zoo use” and we’ll pass it by.
We look forward to seeing your photos!
