About ColumbiaMagazine

Posting photos to this group grants permission for publication of a 640 pixel wide copy on columbiamagazine.com, and storage of that copy in our archives.

We won't be able to use every picture posted to the group, but we'll certainly feature some of them, and we'll also promote this group with links from ColumbiaMagazine.com, which should bring additional exposure for submitted photos even if they aren't featured on the site.

ColumbiaMagazine.com is a local web news outlet for Columbia, KY and surrounding communities including Knifley, KY, Gradyville, KY, Sano, KY, Coburg, KY, and any others within the sovereign borders of Adair County Kentucky. We also regularly post news about Lindsey Wilson College, and the Lake Cumberland and Green River Reservoir areas, as well as news from KY State Police Post 15 in Columbia.

The pay is zero, but the fame (among our Adair county readership) is priceless.

Everyone is welcome, and we hope that you'll join and share your photos from the area, and photos of Adair Countians in the wider world.

To make publication as easy as possible, we'd prefer if you would note in the description or tags of submitted photos:
--any people in the photos
--the location
--the tie to Adair county, if it's not readily apparent
--the date and time, especially for historical photos

(Note: These aren't required, just preferred. If we're deciding between two and one has full documentation, we'll probably use that one.)

In addition, for first-time submissions, if your ties to Adair County aren't readily apparent from your profile, it would be nice if you'd note them in your photo description or a comment when submitting.

The following photo topics are most appropriate:
--Any photo taken in Adair County
--Any photo of a current or former resident of Adair County
--Any photo taken by a current or former resident of Adair County
--Any photo that would likely be of interest to readers of ColumbiaMagazine.com, especially including Southern Kentucky locales and events.
