21 Jun 08 - Color theory does not mean every color of the rainbow in the same picture. Pictures in this group should meet one of the design requirements for color theory listed below. If it's not immediately accessible it will get deleted.

About Color Theory Craft
A lot of the most stunning craft comes from good use of color theory--whether the craftsperson knows it or not! This may explain why there are two craft group on flickr devoted to pink/green combos... red and green are complementary and pink is a version of red.
If you explain how you're using or trying to use color theory, you can post whatever.
Otherwise...
This group will examine three different color theory motifs and those that do not fit will be deleted:
* Analogous colors are three colors that are right in a row on the color wheel. blue-violet, violet, and red-violet for example.
* Complementary colors are colors that are opposite each other on the color wheel.
* Monochromatic colors are all from a single base color. So if you would say that every color in your necklace is a different hue of pink, that would be monochromatic.
Only one rule: Most of the craft should be fit one of these three categories. I won't be checking each one, so play with it! Have fun! And if it goes a bit away from your original intention, post it anyway and explain what happened.
