About Colored Lights at Night
Colored fluorescent lights, neon lights or Colored Incandescent lights at night. All else will be cast out into the darkness....
This group will be edited for quality. Since it takes too much time to provide explainations, do not feel insulted that your picture has been removed. This group has a definite feel and quality level that is different from other similar groups such as 'Nightshots' or 'Available Light'. In order to maintain the quality level and identity this group will be edited.
For example:
    
What dos not belong here: Black & White pictures, sepia pictures, sunsets, ordinary night shots, cityscapes where you can't really see the color except in very small areas. Also, all photos which have been heavily Photoshopped to create wild unnatural colors, color negatives, heavily solarized photos do not belong here. I am very cool to blurry photos, they must something special to stay. Try Lght Painting. Please, please do not post composite photos composed of many photos. They are very boring!!!
Exceptions: Interesting shots with multiple color temperature lighting or lights casting a colored glow due to color temperature mismatch but it needs to be really colored not just a little off white.
Spammming: This is a venue to share your best shots of COLORED LIGHTS AT NIGHT not to share your whole library of night shots. Remember three words: COLORED, LIGHTS, NIGHT Spamming will result in deletion. Choose critically and on topic. If there are more than one shot of the same subject, all but one will be removed.
Editing Technique: The way I edit this group is to look at things on the pool display pages where there are 16 photos per page. Pool Page If on the macro view, just looking at very small sizes, I see no color, I then look at the large view. Unless the photo has some color and is a really good photo, it's cast into the darkness... It's all about color, lots of color!!!!
