About bright colors on grey - no cutouts

Bright colors look so wonderful on a grey background. Bring them together in this group.

What not to do
If your photo was removed it is probably for one of the following reasons:
- the bright color is not bright enough
- the grey is too brown or too black or there is too litte of it
- it is a cutout (the grey was achieved by desaturating selectively)
- it is a weather photo
But do read the full rules down below, please.

The ideal picture
The ideal is to have really bright colors that stand out from a really grey background.
This means:
- a red, yellow, blue, green, purple, orange, and/or pink subject.
- a background that is just calmly, quietly but not completely uniformly grey - not overly brownish or yellowish, not too messy.
- the grey should be the background, the bright color the foreground.

Color issues
No cutouts (selective desaturation) - post them to cutouts. This group is for naturally grey backgrounds. If your grey is the result of photoprocessing, whether in-camera or afterwards, do not post here.
No solid white backgrounds - post to anything on white. White patches in the grey are OK.
No solid black backgrounds - post to black background or blackground. Black patches in the grey are OK.
No color with just a bit of grey. Grey with just a bit of color is fine, but there has to be some bright color (not white, not brown, not muted).
No large patches of brown please - they just do not look good in this pool.

Other photographical rules
No pure weather photos - that includes:
- No grey clouds with blue sky as the color bit.
- No rainbows (and that includes halos, sundogs and other atmospheric colorplays). Try rainbows instead.
- No sunsets.
Grey clouds or blue skies, even setting suns or rainbows are OK if you contrast them with a non-weather item.

Photos can and will be removed without warning if they are not right for this pool.

Tags
It would be nice if you'd tag the photos with both "on grey" and the name of the bright color(s) used, if you haven't done that already. If your photos do not have those tags I will add them unless you object. There's a special discusion thread for that.

Suggestions
If it fits here, your photo might fit well in the "Natural" Selective Colours group too.
If there is very little color in your grey photo, you might consider posting it to irony as well.
If your bright color is red, it might be good in The RED makes it, too.
