About Color is redundant
I believe color is redundant. I cannot find an object where color gives me essential information. I believe form, place and contrast are enough to provide any information.
Take a traffic light for example. At first thought, the color seems to hold the information. It doesn't. The location of the light and the contrast suffice to give a signal.
I invite you to post black and white images of objects that are colored in real life. I challange you to post a crisply photographed image in which form, layout and contrast are not enough to give alle the required information, in other words, in which the lack of color is a functional problem.
