About Primary Color(s)

This is a pool in which to post images with one main - hence, primary - color. One single-colored object that takes up most of the image and creates - or almost creates - a color field.

Your image can have 1 or 2 other colors in it, but one color in particular should be easily identifiable as the focus color, taking up most of the frame. I.e. a red barn or orange gerbera daisy shot tightly so that it almost fills the frame or is the obvious central focus without a lot of other colors around it. You can have other colors blurred in the background (green foliage around a flower, for instance), but most of your image should be taken up by your primary color. Neither the background nor the rest of the picture should be "busy" nor distract from the focus color.

Black and white with a single highlighted color are also good.

This does NOT mean monochrome or "washed" images. Flickr has plenty of groups for those. Nor is it a dumping ground for multiple vivid colors; Flickr has plenty of groups for that, too. One single item of pretty much one color, please! If I delete your picture, it's because it doesn't meet the pool purpose, not because I hate you or your image. I used to let people delete their one, but one stubborn fool routinely refused to play nice, so I can't afford to be any longer, either. Don't take it personally, and if you want to know why your image was deleted, feel free to ask. :)
