About Collies
This Group is for photos and videos of Collies. The four recognized colors include include Sable & White, Tri Color, Blue Merle, and White. There is also the smooth Collie, which is like the other types, but with shorter hair. Most Collies have a distinctive band of white fur around their neck and an elongated snout. Equally as distinctive is their personality, which is sometimes noticeable even in a still photograph.
The "Border Collie" and "Shetland" are actually their own breeds and not part of the Collie Standard. We do ask that you submit only photos and videos that have in them at least one dog belonging to the Collie Standard.
A great thanks goes to the many photographers who have shared their wonderful Collie photos with us.
