About Collage, Milwaukee and Abroad

This group was created for the sole intent of finding collage art work that may be displayed in an upcoming collage exhibition in Milwaukee, WI. Collages will be chosen by Calvin Whitehurst and Sara Caron. This show will represent not only Milwaukee collage artists but others throughout the United States and quite possibly throughout the world. This show is a Do-It-Yourself gallery showing and the artists are not signed by major galleries. The purpose is to show the unrecognized collage artist that has made collage a more intriguing art form than it originally was and challenges the bonds of how and what a collage can express. If you would like to send us entries to be in the show or just be a part of this Flickr group please send us an email at cwhiteu@miad.edu. This show is still a work in progress and is in the stages of choosing the work for the venue. All works in this show will simply be sent in the mail and can also be up for sale at the show if the artist so chooses. Currently we have now decided whether or not we will take a commission on artwork sold as this show will hopefully low rent.
