I posted those web images here mostly for my own use, to find them easier. I had been storing images on my computer which was great, except when my computer died and my hard drive had to be reformated :-( (And if I saw an image that I thought someone would like, I would post that here too)
I wouldn't use any image published after 1923 however, unless the information accompaning the image says there is no restrictions on use
