About cocorico {a patchwork bee}
This bee is now FULL!
This is a 12 month bee of making blocks based on a theme set by the queen bee for the month. You will use your own stash to make your blocks. This bee is about stretching your quilting skills, cheering on the other members and receiving some amazing blocks. This is a serious commitment with original designs and creative themes. So, ask any questions you have and happy sewing, everybody!

February: Muriel (doucepoints)
PIPPI
Her original last name is Långstrump, I know her as Langkous, and most of you say Longstocking, but she is the same girl: she's colorful, out-of-control, strong, rich, spunky, friendly, smart. And I want to be her friend, and sometimes I want to be like her.
She eats pancakes, candy (lots), spaghetti with scissors. She sleeps with her feet on the pillow. She has big black shoes, and colorful clothes. Her villa is the wonkiest, most colorful house there is. She rides a horse, a balloon, a pirate ship. Her friends are Tommy and Annika, Mr. Nilsson the monkey, her white horse that lives on the porch and eats at the table. Her mother is in heaven and her father is a captain and king on an island in the South Seas.
I'm looking for blocks sized between 10" and 14" in either direction.
March: megsmonkeybeans (Megan)
The County Fair.
My family loves our local county fair in Clackamas, Oregon, and we go every year. We've even entered in several of the "Kitchen Cupboard" contests (including the kids!) for cooking and canning. We usually spend an entire day at the fairgrounds checking out the animals, displays, tasty food, treats like cotton candy, and of course, the rides on the midway. Feel free to let your block be inspired by a favorite carnival ride or a memory you may have of going to the fair.
Any size, any colors, any construction method you like. but, NO CLOWNS!!!!
April: Charise* (Charise)
House--house, trees, paths etc. up to you. Any size and color. I love Edwardian and Victorian houses but I'm up for anything - even mid century modern!!!
