About CMP vehicles

A collection of photographs depicting the CMP lorries from WW2. After providing outstanding service during their military careers, many thousands of these robust vehicles went on to lead long and colourful civilian lives.

I am not an expert on these vehicles, and would greatly appreciate any technical advice about them. I have set this group up really because I was surprised that one didn't already exist. I have so many memories of these tough little lorries working as breakdown trucks or in forestry work that I felt there should be a group dedicated to the CMP trucks.

I hope that you will join the group and add your photos of CMP trucks. And I hope that this will also provide something of a forum through which interest in CMP trucks can flourish.
