DEFINITION OF THIS GROUP:
Color photography of macro or micro or close up photography. If you are an avid macro or micro or close up lover this is the group to place your images. They must be color only for submission approval.
You do not have to award images in this group in order to submit your work, that is up to you but if you feel like admiring someones work you can place a code if you so wish. Codes are listed below as well as in the discussion group.
This is a group to learn, teach, correspond, interact and exchange ideas, information, knowledge, and the basic technicalities of this wonderful genre of photography.
Beginners, amateurs, professionals are all welcome! Share your knowledge and give someone else a wonderful opportunity to become better at this type of photography format.
DEFINITION OF MACRO: Macro Photography is defined as between 1:1and 20:1(life size to 20x larger)
DEFINITION OF MICRO PHOTOGRAPHY: Micro Photography is defined as magnification of 20:1 upwards.
DEFINITION OF CLOSE UP PHOTOGRAPHY: Close Up Photography is in the range 1:10and 1:1(1/10 to life size)
