When you're thinking about taking a photo at Critical mass, STOP and turn around, a photo full of faces can be much more interesting than the backs of everyones heads.
Sometimes you can take good photos if you take time out for a sec, cross the road and get a good vantage point, look at the map and ride ahead and stand on that rubbish bin, or ledge...
Get down, try different angles.
Hold your camera at arms length above your head, wave to people as you're about to take the photo and they'll wave back at you.
Think about which direction the light is going, don't shoot into the sun, unless that particularly what you want.
Don't just take "Critical Mass" photos, take people photos, city scape photos, architectural photos, as Critical Mass passes by...
Share your photos after you've taken them!
