Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT/KCLT) is located in Charlotte, North Carolina, and is the 16th busiest airport in the U.S. and the 30th busiest airport in the world by passenger traffic.

The airport operates an overlook on Old Dowd Rd. that is open to the public and feature picnic tables and benches. Also, the Carolina's Aviation Museum offers good views ($7 admission).
