About cLoUd aRT (international)

This group is for those who have a fascination with the artistic use of clouds in their photography and art . Clouds can be ecstatic, joyful, whimsical, lonely, sad, colorful, bleak, angry, threatening or just plain crazy, and so much more.

Clouds need not be the focus of the pictures, but should in some way contribute to the atmosphere - mood of the image. The photograph or artwork should speak to the viewer, reach out in some way and show something other than condensed water particles in the sky.

There are no proscriptions other than that cloud must play an important part in the composition of the photograph/art.

I have issued invites to many people and have tried to vary selections to get a range of different styles, uses of cloud in composition. So if you have other than invited pics, which you feel meet this then please post them. Because the topic is very broad, and the group new, I encourage all participants to share a variety of shots in their own personal styles. Posting will be limited to 5 per day for the time being and i will be inviting shots from my contacts and from searches. All members are encouraged to do likewise while browsing.
