We are looking for JUST PURE FACES; but possibly can include shoulders. No hands, please
Only ONE person per shot.
QUALITY IS SIGNIFICANT
Heavy photoshop manipulation is not encouraged beyond minor enhancement.
The use of frames is discouraged -- the image should stand well alone.
The portraits should not be snap shots but unique, interesting and well photographed.
Submissions are regularly looked over by our admins and ones that do not make the grade will be deleted (sorry, we only accept about 40% of submissions to maintain the current quality) Reasons for deletion will not usually be given but we hope you share our goal of maintaining quality across the group and do not take personal offence in the case of unaccepted images -- your best guide as to what we are looking for is the pool itself.
We look forward to forming a showcase of high quality, diverse work.
