About Clip Art
If your histogram isn't clipping, you're not trying hard enough.
We're all about extremely high contrast black and white photographs. Show us how far you can push that histogram!
Posting guidelines:
1) Black and white images only! Some tinting (sepia, cyanotype, ...) is allowed, but no color images.
2) As a rule of thumb (i.e., no hard rule), it's sufficiently high contrast when you have both blacks and blown highlights in different parts of the same image. Whether you do your own burning and dodging in the darkroom, use photoshop to achieve the same effects, or simply shoot like this right out of the camera is irrelevant.
3) Maximum three submissions per day. Submissions might be moderated, as both admins are new at this and don't want to get in over their heads. Moderation is re-evaluated whenever the need arises. Anyway, this shouldn't stop you from sending us your great images. ;)
The goal of this group is to collect inspiring black and white photographs. We don't do awards, we don't spam you with animated gifs, there are no pre-written copy-paste-able comments, but we are about constructive feedback.
If you have no clue how to get started doing these conversions, take a peek in the discussion forums. Feel free to start a new thread, as long as the topic is relevant.
