Photographs of Clearwing Moths and their habitats across the UK.

In the UK we have several species of Clearwing Moth. Many are rarely seen without the use of pheremone lures although some species can be common if the right habitat is present.

378 Orange-tailed Clearwing - Synanthedon andrenaeformis
379 Red-belted Clearwing - Synanthedon myopaeformis
380 Red-tipped Clearwing - Synanthedon formicaeformis
381 Large Red-belted Clearwing - Synanthedon culiciformis
382 Six-belted Clearwing - Bembecia ichneumoniformis
