About Clean Jordan Lake
Clean Jordan Lake is a NC Non-profit 503(c)(3) corporation dedicated to the removal of litter from Jordan Lake. Please join us in removing litter and restoring essential aquatic habitat. Regular clean up events are scheduled throughout the year, with details posted on www.cleanjordanlake.org.
One of the most powerful means of bringing the issue of litter to the community is through a camera lens. Clean Jordan Lake hopes to establish relationships with photographers of all skill levels in order to promote both our cause, as well as showcase photographers skills, and, in some cases, their commerical offerings.
As you look at the photographs, you'll note that most everyone is doing something they typically don't want to do: pick up trash on a weekend. But you'll plainly see that these people are obviously having fun and smiling about it. Clean Jordan Lake isn't just about litter; people volunteer with Clean Jordan Lake to have fun, get outside, and meet other people with similar interests.
