Whoa there, back up a little. You're over the 500 character limit!

LindaH (a group admin) says: 11 Jul 08 - There are no posting limits on the group. The easiest way to add a large number of photos to the group is to use 'organize'. Open 'organize' at the top of your page, choose the photos from a set, batch, or by tag search. You can select lots of photos at once by selecting with the shift key held down. Then just choose 'add to group'. Remember it's a good idea to tag photos 'classroomdisplays'

About Classroom displays

Displays and bulletin boards in classrooms and libraries. See also the Classroom Displays Blog.
As well as sharing ideas and best practice I'm hoping that by looking at, commenting on and tagging displays we can investigate what works and doesn't in the classroom and maybe even explore some reasons for this.
To add a photo to the group:
1) Click on the thumbnail of your own photo.
2) Above it, you should see some icons - "Add note" "send to group" "Add to set" etc.
Choose "Send to group" and a list of groups you belong to should appear. If you have a slow connection thsi may say "loading....." for a while first.
3) Choose the Classroom Displays group and click.
Done.
Permissions Reminder
It would be really helpful if you could enable "allow blogging' for photos you post to the group. This would mean I could use them in the Classroom Displays blog.
Can I also remind people the auto default copywrite on Flickr is All RIghts Reserved. Please consider a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 2.0 Licence for photos posted to the group. This allows people to use your images for non-commercial purposes so long as they attribute them to you.
Flickr itself already insists on a link back to Flickr for any photo shown on a 3rd party site in the terms and conditions.
See the Classroom Displays Blog for more in- depth analysis of individual displays, tips and advice.
