This group is intended to be a niche group focused on a collection of classic still life scenes. Generally describe as the sort of still life scenes typically found in paintings up through the rise of impressionism.
The scenes may be a found or arranged still life. Subjects should typically be the sort of items and scenes one would find prior to the modern era. Ie. no electronics etc.
The scenes should be lit by natural light, candle light, or at least look natural in their lighting. That is to say not looking like it was shot in a light box sans background, not backlit, etc. etc. etc.
Painting like filters, textures, etc. are acceptable. Shots that still look like photographs of a scene that would be the subject of a painting from this era are also ok. Photos of paintings that you have painted are also ok.
Single flower shots (unless displayed in a vase) are not accepted. Single items not paired with another object will be questionable. Table top still lifes are what we seek.
In order to keep the focus narrow this will be a moderated group. Photos will be approved as long as in the view of the moderators/admin they fit with the vision.
If a photo is not approved please do not take offense. It does not mean your photo is not a great photo. It simply means it doesn't align with the niche this group was designed for.
