About Clark Bridge Sharing photos of the Clark Bridge. The Clark Bridge (sometimes referred to as the Superbridge as the result of its construction being the subject of a documentary aired by Nova) is a cable-stayed bridge across the Mississippi River between West Alton, Missouri and Alton, Illinois.
