About City of Inverness

The Capital of the Highlands, Inverness is a small city on the banks of the River Ness.

Unlike our sister group Inverness-shire, which also covers the historic county, this is just for the city itself and an attempt to capture something of Inverness as the urban centre and regional capital that it is.

Although there is no technical definition of Inverness, this group's definition is anything inside the "welcome to Inverness" signs on the edge of the city on all the main roads coming in. In between those roads, stick with the same radius and it should be OK. Admins' discretion may be used.

Photos of people, places, events, landscapes, buildings or anything else are welcome, just as long as they avoid abstraction and are clearly something about, of and most obviously in Inverness.
