CitizenJ is citizens doing journalism.

Hosted by The Edge at State Library of Queensland, the project is equipping everyday people with the skills to become credible citizen journalists.

This group is for CitizenJ contributors to submit and share photojournalism.

Group Rules

* Contributed images must be your own work

* Only images that have journalistic merit will be accepted

* Contributed images must be licensed under creative commons (we recommend: attribution, no-derivatives, non-commercial)

* By contributing an image, you agree to CitizenJ and the State Library of Queensland publishing and/or archiving it without further permissions

* Contributed images must be free from doctoring (this means any editing other than corrective work including exposure, sharpening and cropping. The content and/or context of your image must not be altered in any way)

* Contributed images must be fully captioned including a detailed description of what is happening, where the photo was taken (if relevant) and names of the people in the image (ensure correct spelling and include any relevant titles eg: President of the Swimming Association of Queensland)

* Contributed images must be tasteful and legal

* Contributed images must represent a true and accurate account of what you witnessed including relevant context (such as surroundings)

* If there is a child portrayed in your image, you must also send us a copy of a 'consent and release' form that has been signed by the parent or guardian

* By contributing to this group, you become a contributor to the wider CitizenJ project
