About Citibus Tours (Manchester, UK)

Just before the start of bus deregulation, a North Manchester based company began operations with a City Circle route. Its two tone buses becoming a familiar sight around Manchester, Oldham and Tameside areas by the end of the 1980s.

After 10 years of serving the often overlooked parts of Manchester, Oldham and Tameside, the company was sold to GM Buses North. A year later, GM Buses North lost its independence being swallowed up by Firstbus.

This group aims to provide an authoritative reference of the one-time Chadderton based company which had a most varied fleet.
