About The Cinematic Urge
Photos with rich, complex lighting, or interesting depths, whatever gives the sensation that they might be part of a large moving narrative. Images that are quailty and that tell a story.

But keep in mind the goal of this group is to put many high quality images together and we can only achieve that end if we are selective of the types of images we add.
New Rule: In an effort to keep this group as strong as I can there is a new policy of three images per day. Sorry, but it's way too much work to administrate otherwise.
New Rule: If you are interested in joining the group, please include links to 2-3 photos in your stream that you think fit the pool when you write in for admission.
If you become part of this group do not be surprised if admins remove some of your images from the pool. This pool isn't meant to be a holding place for every shot that feels cinematic, rather a show of the best of the best.

in an effort to make this group excel and consistantly compelling I will be picking through the images daily to weed out images that don't fit, are too low quality or are just being dumped into the pool.
You will not be notified if i remove an image from the pool.
People who consistantly post low quality and unrelated images will be removed without notice. If this happens to you and you think you can make a case for why I made a mistake, email me (.lush). I'm a reasonable guy.
This group has gone from one of the strongest to another boring pool with clumps of fantastic images. I aim to fix that even if it means we only end up with 5-10 images a day.
