This year is the 28th year of the Cinco de Mayo Fiesta on St. Paul’s West Side!
Be a part of the celebration by photographing your favorite moments! Prizes awarded to the 1st & 2nd place finalists in each category.
The categories for the 2010 Photo Contest are as follows:
“Low-rider Car Showcase” and “The Colors and Symbols of Cinco De Mayo”
To enter one or more of your images, join the Cinco de Mayo Fiesta (Saint Paul, MN) Photo Contest group, upload your images, send them to our group and tag each with "CincoPhotoContestLowrider" or "CincoPhotoContestColors&Symbols", depending on the category that you are submitting your entry. Limit one photo per category, per person.
Only images originally captured by the submitter are eligible. The subject must fall under the categories “Low-rider Car Showcase” and “The Colors and Symbols of Cinco De Mayo”.
Deadline: Friday May 14, 2010 by 1 p.m. Central Daylight Time
Photos must be uploaded and submitted by this time; no late entries will be eligible.
Please make sure to fill out an application as well & pay the $10.00 entry free after or before you submit your photos on Flickr. Applications are available at www.districtdelsol.com

1.The photographs must be taken at the 2010 Cinco de Mayo Fiesta on St. Paul’s West Side. This event will be held on Friday, May 7 and Saturday, May 8, 2010.
2.Photography entries must be the work of the participant.
4.All photographs become the property of the Riverview Economic Development Association (REDA) and will not be returned. REDA reserves the right to use the photographs in printed materials or websites for exhibition, advertising, educational, publicity and/or promotional purposes.
5.Each participant is limited to one entry per category.
6.Participants may enter more than one category.
7.Photographs may be black and white or color.
Final judging will take place two weeks after the Cinco de Mayo Fiesta event takes place & winners will be notified.
