About Cayman Islands Natural History
The photos in this group are intended to illustrate the unique Natural History of the Cayman Islands, which often goes unnoticed among the myriad of 'party shots' of this popular vacation resort. Development and tourism have brought many of Cayman's endemic species to the brink of extinction. Eco-tourism holds the potential of helping to protect these treasures and this flickr group is seen as a small part of promoting that effort.
