hello kids,
super exciting ex-a-sketch this week.
we're RELEASING THE ANIMALS! box animals!!!
yes that's right, we're going to turn the little box wall cove into an animal jungle!
we'll cover the concrete walls with flat boxes to paint a nice jungle sunset backdrop, and then in the foreground we'll place dozens of box animals and random shrubbery.. from the king of the jungle, to dopey the elephant. pink flamingos and cute little demented bunnies.
ankle and friends have been busy making dozens of animals already, but we still need more!!! you can never have enough animals. :)
so we'll need to have a couple of teams, one making more animals, and another painting the hand crafted goodness that ankle and his friends have already made, plus the background.
we have all the spray paint left over from the box wall at the zine fair, so all you need bring are some textas to do highlights and eyeballs etc.
NEEDED: someone with a wagon to help transport the animals.. (badjonni??? :) we'll pay you in beer and petrol money and eternal praise!)
where: meet at the exeter at 6.30pm, we'll build the animal jungle in the courtyard opposite, just down union street.
when: tuesday 1st April, 6.30pm.
bring: textas, pens, paintbrushes, pasteups, stickers.
we'll supply: the spray paint, masking tape, lots of box animals & boxes!
