This group is NOT for the promotion of "CHRISTIAN" photography (i.e. churches, crosses, etc).

DO NOT POST SNAPSHOTS IN THIS GROUP! If you are not a professional photographer (or at LEAST a skilled ameteur) then do NOT post images. They WILL BE DELETED. If you would not sell the image to a client, don't post it here.

This group is for the promotion of serious photography. Landscape, architecture, portraiture, macro, commercial - you name it. Non-christians and skilled amateurs are more than welcome.

The group is for "pro's", but being a "pro" does not just mean you get paid - if your work is good and you don't get paid, by all means join. The point is that we seek to encourage skillful photography, not just snapshot shooting.

It is not a dumping ground or clearing house for photos either - only post if your photography is relevant to increasing other's skills and ideas. For this reason you are only allowed to post a maximum of 3 photos to the pool per day.

Discussions regarding technique, equipment, and business practices are encouraged.

ANY POSTING OF INAPPROPRIATE MATERIAL WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE EXPULSION FROM THE GROUP. If you wouldn't show the photos off to your spouse and kids, we don't want it.

Last, but not least: the editing policy. From time to time the content of the photo pool may be edited (i.e. selected images removed) for quality moderation. Unfortunately, the editing process may occasionally involve the removal of some of your photos, so please do not be offended. Members are encouraged to comment on images they like, but the development of photographic skills also involves the use of some constructive criticism- so please be prepared for it here. (As a side note: I myself, as the moderator, will keep a number of my own images off this group, because of the express purposes stated for this group's quality moderation).

We encourage you to invite other quality work to be posted here as well.
