About Disney's "A Christmas Carol" Train Tour

Walt Disney Feature Animation promoted the
"A Christmas Carol"
3D Movie staring Jim Carey with a free train tour. Featuring interactive exhibits inside the elaborately decorated trainset, which crisscrossed the U.S.A. with a fascinating exhibit mounted entirely within train cars - admission to the exhibit was complementary. A free ticket was distributed to each group, and a Mickey shape was punched by the conductor as you boarded the exhibit indicating the family/group count. History of Charles Dickens "A Christmas Carol" and reference costumes were in the first car. Other cars contained 'the making of' displays and the second to last car featured Hewlett Packard touch screens and cameras which allowed guest to 'morph' their features into a selected character from the film. When you scanned your ticket, to get started in the "morph" station, it associated that number with your image. To retrieve your photos visit the Walmart Digital Photo Center:Reedem Claim upload photo website and use the number on the back of your ticket to view and purchase them. All pictures are ready.

The observation car, surrounded by snowfall on the London streetscene, featured a family photo opportunity of Christmas Dinner and a lovely mantle of homefires burning on the hearth, enough to warm the heart of the stingiest Scrooge. On the Platform nearby, an inflatable theater featured your chance to preview the film inside - with their full color 3D glasses. Each stop included local media and children's event booths - and everyone had a chance to win the H/P sweepstakes.
