About Christian CHURCH Life (please read the guidelines)

A lot of people really don\'t know what happens "in church" or when Christians gather for worship, fellowship, discipleship, evangelism, and ministry (the five basic functions of a local church). There are other groups on Flickr that focus on church buildings, but the true church consists of PEOPLE rather than steeples, pews, stained glass, and neatly manicured lawns.

Please, ALL photos must show PEOPLE engaged in a CHURCH-related function such as:

WORSHIP (celebrating God's presence as a body of believers gathered together)

FELLOWSHIP (identifying with other believers in meaningful ways, so that members grow closer to one another and to the Lord)

DISCIPLESHIP (the process of transformation that takes people where they are, teaching them what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ)

EVANGELISM (people sharing the truths of the Gospel wherever they go: in the local marketplace or on foreign soil)

MINISTRY (demonstrating God's love by meeting the needs of people: physical, spiritual, emotional, and relational)

Also, it is required that every photo have some sort of title and/or a caption that gives a basic description of the photo and what's going on. This will serve two purposes: (1) to identify the photo as one that fulfills the description of this group, and (2) to provide a verbal Christian witness to the joy of serving Jesus Christ through His church.
