About The Practice of the Faith

This is not a religious flickr group. It is a flickr group for images of the Practice of Faith.
Whether you are a participant or an outside observer, what does it mean to practice the Christian, Islamic, Jewish or other faith? What are the images which strike a chord, and touch the heart?
This group is for photographs which capture an essence of belief and worship in all its forms. This is open to interpretation in the broadest possible sense.
However, the group is not intended for photographs of flowers, trees, sunsets, kittens, babies and the like, even with a verse of the bible added in, unless of course they are shown within the context of the practice of worship.
It is also not intended for architectural and artistic photographs of churches, mosques, temples, stained glass, etc, unless the photograph tells us something about the nature of the practice of Faith.
It is not necessary to be a practicing member of a Faith to post images to this group. Please read the caveat at the bottom of this page.

Caveat: The discussion threads are open to all members, but be aware that they are not intended for theological arguments, or as a forum for believers and atheists to slate each other. Any such discussions will be removed, and the offender banned.
Similarly, images which would generally be considered discriminatory of people on the grounds of their race, gender, sexuality, intelligence or religious beliefs will be disallowed.
