Ahh, the glorious Chicago Parks system...
This group is for all your photos of and in the parks located in the greater Chicagoland metro area. The progeny of the collective efforts of John S. Wright, Frederick Law Olmsted, Calvert Vaux, Swain Nelson, William Shaler Cleveland, William Le Baron Jenney, Oscar F. Dubuis, and Daniel Burnham, ,to name but a few of the lights that shone, at various junctures, on the development of the city's Park, and particularly, its Boulevard system, "Urbs in Horto" distinguishes Chicago from other American World-class cities.
