About Chili Solstice

Photos from the Chili Solstice.

The Chili Solstice is an annual celebration of all things spicy, especially Chili, but it\'s not a Chili cookoff (Not-Zero-Sum).

It\'s based on an old pagan holiday that honors the one day of the year on which all hot peppers are the hottest they get all year.
For reference, the Chili Solstice always falls on the first full moon after the winter solstice, so it\'s usually sometime betweeen late December and early January.
The festivities are ideally held on the Chili Solstice itself, but sometimes can be time-shifted to the nearest convenient weekend.
