About London Transport Museum: Children's London

Artist John Burningham was commissioned to design posters for London Transport in the 1960's. Burningham is now working with London Transport Museum to create a new poster artwork entitled 'Children's London' to coincide with an exhibition of his work at the Museum in autumn 2011.

This group invites you to share your interpretation of Children's London, gaining your inspiration from Burningham's illustrations and the vibrant city around you. We invite you to take photographs on the theme ‘Children’s London’ and submit them to us so that we can display them alongside Burningham’s work later this year. Whether it’s a photograph taken by a child in the city, a snapshot which captures London’s playful nature, or an image which represents a child’s experience of the capital, we’d love for you to share it with us.

Entries are welcome from now until Friday 2nd December. When the group closes, the three most interesting images, as chosen by Museum staff, will win a signed copy of Burningham’s new book, and free entry to the Museum for you and a guest.
