About Chicana/o Art, History, y Cultura
Through the use of photographs, this group analyzes the dynamics of Chicana/o Art, History, y Cultura. Although traditionally concerned with Mexican-Americans, the groups recognizes the importance of all Latin American ethncities and welcomes all Americans who have struggled with the their status as a hyphenated-American (i.e. Mexican-American, Colombian-American, etc...).
The group encourages photographs which strengthen Chicana/o iconography through posting photographs of murals, buildings, architecture, people, food, family, musicial groups, graffiti, and landscapes, among others.
Please Note: Try and keep photo postings to only a few per day. Photos that have no obvious tie to Chicana/o Art, History, y Cultura will be delted. Thanks.
