Now that we have launched the Flickr Map function on our home page, preference will be given to photos that are already mapped. You can do this very easily by going to "Organize" then "Map."

Photo friends of Chicago Public Radio:

This group is where you can submit photos to our web site. Each day, we feature a different photo on our home page. We also occasionally use small photos on other parts of our site. We'll notify you if we're using your photo on the home page, however we aren't able to send out notice for other smaller uses. We're a little new at using Flickr for this, so if you have any suggestions or comments about how to improve this process, let us know. Here are the submission guidelines.

- Group members may contribute 5 photos per day
- Shots that depict Chicagoland: the people, the neighborhoods, the sights
- The more recent, the better!
- Photos that don't require captions
- Landscape orientation (i.e., horizontal)
- Pictures should be at least 452 pixels wide and 314 pixels tall.
- We may do a minor adjustments (contrast, brightness, color, etc.) as necessary
- In return, we offer a credit for photos used in the main photo position on the home page that can contain a link either to your Web site or e-mail address where folks can track you down.
