The CHICAGO FASHION INDUSTRY is a group that was started because we see a need for a true outlet for everyone who is either just starting in the Fashion Industry in Chicago, or who have been involved for a while, but have not received the recognition they deserve. We have also noticed that there are many fashion events in Chicago that are not open to EVERYONE within the fashion industry here, especially if you

Don't go to a certain school

Can't afford to join special fashion organizations

Can't afford the high cost of showing your skills at trade shows

Are not established enough to participate in Chicago Fashion Week or similar shows


We wish to help fix this problem, by all of us coming together to promote each other to the public! The fashion industry elites tell us that they are the ones who decide WHO's in, and WHO's out. Do not believe it! The CONSUMERS of the world are the final purchasers of our goods, and not the individuals sitting next to the Runways commenting on everything from make-up, to shoes.

Let's work together to build the Chicago Fashion Industry into one of the world's most dominant! We don't need to wait until the critics are ready. We can do it ourselves! With us all working together and collaborating, and the support of those businesses who truly understand what we are trying to accomplish, we will all succeed in our chosen fashion professions!
