About Cheshire Market Towns Photography Competition

Calling all amateur photographers!

We’re launching a photography competition in conjunction with the Cheshire East Place Shaping Consultation to celebrate the best of Cheshire East’s towns and villages, and we’re interested in finding the secret, quirky, beautiful and characteristic features that makes a place special to you.

The competition is only open to amateur photographers either residents or visitors and the judges are looking for photographs that represent the very best of Cheshire East.

The competition is split into six categories and entrants can enter a maximum of two photographs per category:

Art and architecture
People and Places (please don't include faces if you don't have permission)
Hidden Gems
A taste of.... (anything tasty!)
My Cheshire East
Walkabout
There will be 2 age categories; under 18s and 18 and over (entrants under 12 must have permission from their legal guardian before entering).

Prizes include a spa day for 2 adults courtesy of The Mere Golf Resort and Spa, photography equipment and vouchers to local attractions.
