About Chelsea London SW3
There are two groups about "Kensington and Chelsea" lumped together.
This group is just about Chelsea proper , a residential part of London SW3 with its own identity, history and a well defined personality, whether it is marked by its architecture, trade, or people.
Chelsea is situated in South London and it is bordered by the river Thames. The following neighbourhoods are found around it:
Belgravia SW1 to the East
Pimlico SW1 to the Southeast
Knightsbridge to the North
South Kensington SW7 to the North
Fulham SW6 to the West
The most important East-West roads defining Chelsea are
King's Road, Chelsea Embankment, Royal Hospital Road,
Among the longer North-South Roads are: Sloane Avenue, Oakley Street, Tite Street, Sidney Street, Old Church Street, Chelsea Manor Road.
This is a group which invites postings about every-day life, about landmarks and people.
