17 Aug 09 - This is not a group for professional level cameras (if they are, I hope you are just using the kit lens :)). This is for your best work done with your worst camera, so to speak. This is NOT a photo dump! DO NOT upload any and every photo in your photostream...they will be deleted. Consider yourself warned. It's my group, I decide what stays and what goes.

About Cheapshots: It's not what you use, but how you use it

This group is about creating great photographs no matter what brand or type of camera you use. Most photography "snobs" think that you have to have a Canon EOS 1DS Mark III or Nikon D3X or even Nikon D90 or better to take a great photograph. I believe that everyone has an artist in them, no matter if it's a Polaroid, point-and-shoot digital, or even a disposable camera. Most of the time, these type of cameras take the best photos.

Personally, I own a Nikon D40 DSLR with the 18-55mm kit lens and SB-600 speedlight. I also have a Canon Rebel 2000 film camera with a few lenses, but no "L" glass. I also own a couple of digital point-and-shoots. Check out my photostream, all my photos were taken with the above listed cameras.

Attn: This is NOT a photo dump. DO NOT just dump whatever photos you have taken without taking into consideration whether it's good or not. Feel free to invite your friends/contacts to join as well.
