About Chasing Shadows (New Rules - See Below)

When I first began Chasing Shadows, I was thinking about the relationship between light and shadow-- and I suppose I still am-- but now the group has grown to include anything of high artistic value. This group is still primarily interested in monochrome photos, but we are also open to color shots.

The majority of the photos in the pool are invited, but if you think you have a photo that fits this group's thematic concerns, then feel free to submit it. Please keep in mind that you are now only allowed to submit one new image per week. Please do not take it personally if we reject your photo. You are always welcome to try again with another image.

You are not required to comment on photos, but it is our sincere hope that you will take the time to view some of the photos already in the pool and comment on any that peak your interest.
