Image Posting Rules

carf is a group administrator carf  Pro User  says:

The posting of images to this group’s main photo pool is limited to include such images that support the changemaker ideology. Ideally, images should help to create optimism towards this cause, but are not necessarily restricted to human aid actions. Images may also include other areas of positive social development and your vision for these, such as;

• the environment;

• health;

• education;

• sustainable development;

• economic development;

• human rights;

• youth venture;

• etc.

Our different “Case Study Threads” may be opened for the posting of other categories of images, depending on the type of action/solution being presented/discussed in each thread, but only for those who are contributing in some way towards a solution to that specific case. In each case, the group admins will give notice.

I will be very happy to check your group often.
But I don't think I will post in there : most of the time, the photos I make are only an admittance of failure. And OMG, I don't see any simple solutions for the people I meet. I'm only talking with them and what they need is a massive political solution. Sometimes I'm really desperate about that. I admire you and this beautiful project you launch with that group.
Perhaps can I do better than I do ? I really don't know my friend...

@KC Turner,
Simply click on the "Send to Group" link above any of you images and this group should appear on the list that appears after a little while. Choose this group and abracadabra your image should appear in this group (or any other you chose from your group listing).

@Tous les noms sont déjà pris... pfff...,
For sure, there are no simple solutions for the people you meet, all of whom are so respectfully photographed and displayed in your very special photo stream.
You dare to meet those people and look them straight in the eyes.
That is important!
Admittance of failures (that need to be changed), certainly! But I think you are doing what is in your power and capacity to help others see more clearly.
A massive political solution begins with small local community solutions, something I am constantly desperate about.

I would be honoured to receive some of your images in this group.
Thanks for sharing your valued opinion! - Gregory

...creating optimism? I did some shots of friendly cheering children in Japan. I was rather pessimistic seeing that and an education system that does not allow to think independently. Shocking pictures of children working hard will be probably more useful. I am in between...I think we should see all. To create awareness one has to be shocking AND positve. I think we should not filter so much. Reality is both sides...in my opinion. What is that second picture showing in the Human rights line?

Rainer, thank you for your valued opinion!
I agree that we need to see the contrast.
The image you asked about is this:

Sorry that there are no links to these pictures as most of them didn't have the html available on their "all sizes" page and I was really pressed for time to mount this little collage. But by searching tags using the above keywords will expose many shocking AND positive images.
