About The Challenge Group (SA)

This group is all about challenging ourselves as photographers. It is intended mainly for keen hobbyist photographers who wish to learn and improve their skills through practical application of the art of photography.
The group has a monthly theme, which constitutes the cvhallenge for that month. Themes are suggested by group members to try and stimulate a new and different approach in the photographers involved.
Additionally, monthly "field trips" also form part of the group's activities. These may (or may not) be related to the challenge theme for that month - they're an added bonus for those who want to go out and take photographs in environments they might not normally find themselves in. Locations for these trips are also suggested by group members, and are attended by those members who can make it, and are in reasonable striking distance of the venues.
